Humboldt Gin / 2024

He's back.

We brought back the legendary explorer Alexander von Humboldt with AI!
As THE Ginfluencer and the GOAT in journaling he takes over the Instagram channel of his own gin and takes us with him to explore the modern world.

Selfies, notes, new cocktail inspirations and many more AI explorations are there to come ✨

Step 1 was the character design: How does our version of Alex looks like?
With the help of Midjourney I generated MANY realistic looking characters and we decided on this one:

Younger (in his prime), curious, charismatic to represent the Insta channel in the best way.

When we decided on our character Step 2 came in: Character exploration and consistency.
I asked our own Humboldt GPT about possible daily life scenes and generated different scenarios with the help of the reference tool in Midjourney.

For our Ginspiration segment I've also recreated the illustration style from the label design to use as backgrounds for generated inspirational quotes and product show case.

After the first month on Instagram I made a music video using our scenes from Midjourney and bringing them to live with Runway Gen-3.
Even the german hit song was generated using  Suno AI, enjoy!
