The IT department of the statutory accident insurance VBG is being restructured and we were asked to communicate the change in a casual and charming way.

So the IT employees needed something they can identify with to make the process more approachable and unproblematic. Therefore we created a brand manifesto, which was inspired by the early days of the world wide web itself. With the retro yet very futuristic design language of the 80's.

Combined with a pinch of gradients and lasers. Mr. Hasselhoff would love it.

The font Montserrat is the stage for the horizon where our two different gradients align. It's the "peace" in the center. Just like the restructuring process – where differences and change are the main problem for the employees – if you trust in your team, you can change it together to something even better.

Since it's the retro future age, the font Bayshore is the perfect candidate to glow up some dark spaces and highlight our main topics.

Another big part of the project was to create a logo for the IT department, which was called The Change Badge.
